Please note that there is a $100 fee for a personal consultation with Dr. Kim. We will ask for a credit card number when you make your appointment, but your credit card will not be charged until you arrive for your appointment. We ask for a 24 hour cancellation notice. If you do not notify us of a cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment, your credit card will be charged a $100 no-show fee.
Why does Dr. Roy Kim charge for a consultation?
Dr. Roy Kim and Caroline, his patient coordinator, are busy helping our patients achieve the best results possible. We charge for a consultation because Dr. Roy Kim's time is valuable. He meets PERSONALLY with every patient, and goes over with them every detail of their procedure. Caroline and Dr. Roy Kim answer all questions at the time of your consultation, and is available by e-mail or phone after the consultation.
Dr. Roy Kim and Caroline offer personalized service and coming up with a customized treatment plan for you. We can't control what other plastic surgeons may or may not charge, but we both personally spend time with you to go over ALL your options. We do not treat you like a number, nor do we try to see how many patients we can "fit in" in a day. You will not feel "rushed" during your consultation with us. Dr Roy Kim and Amy think that every patient is different, and we tailor an INDIVIDUAL plan for you that we are confident will give you the results you want. Aesthetic surgery consultations take about 45 - 60 minutes, and we will make sure that you leave feeling satisfied that your money and time were well spent!
Dr. Roy Kim and his office staff are looking out for the best interest of you, our patient. We value and treasure any new relationships during our consultations, and Dr. Roy Kim and Caroline are always honored when someone decides to have surgery with us!
Dr. Roy Kim and his office staff are very pro-active and great listeners. They will always give you as much information as possible over the phone or via e-mail. Dr. Roy Kim has spent time and money to ensure that his website has information, before and after photos, and videos of patients and procedures to give you as much information as possible before you meet him and his office staff in person. There is no charge for this.
Finally, the cost of your personal consultation, $100, is deducted from the overall cost of your procedure, when you decide to have a procedure with Dr. Roy Kim.
